Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Can I bargain at Renninger's?
A. There is no universal policy. Each shop is staffed by its owners. They are free to set their own pricing policy, and to make their own decisions about negotiating those prices.

Q. How do I know when the Antique Center will be open?
A. That's easy. The Antique Center is open every weekend, 9 AM - 5 PM -- 52 weeks a year. See Fairs and Extravaganzas for special days and hours for the third weekend of every month.

Q. How much time should I plan on spending at the Antique Center?
A. That depends on what you're interested in and how you shop. Folks who want to check out all the merchandise often plan on spending the day. During Extravaganzas, you'll probably want to plan on two or three days to take it all in. Fortunately there are good accommodations nearby. But, be sure to make your reservations early. Rooms go fast for our popular Extravaganzas.

Q. How can I pay for my purchases?
A. All our dealers accept cash in U.S. currency. Most accept Money Orders, Travelers Checks or personal checks with proper identification. Many will also accept credit cards for larger purchases.

Q. Where can I find an ATM machine?
A. There is a cash-ATM machine on site, just outside of the office in Building A.

Q. Is this the same Renninger's I've seen in Pennsylvania?
A. YES! Renninger's Twin Markets, Mount Dora is under the same ownership as the Renninger's markets we hope you'll visit in Kutztown and Adamstown, Pennsylvania.

Q. How can I find out about becoming a dealer at Renninger's?
A. We are always happy to talk with knowledgeable dealers of quality antiques and collectibles about joining our dealer group. You can go to Information for Dealers, stop by the office (located in Building A), or phone (352) 383-8393. If we don't have space available, we'll add you to our waiting list.
